Happy New Year!!

The preacher this morning had an excellent, insightful message about serving the Lord. It was from II Kings 6. To sum it up, he said as a Christian if you are working hard doing good things but without the Lord in it.........you're swinging a handle without the axe. All of your time and energy is being spent swinging a handle, completely wasted because it isn't for the Lord. It is my desire to have more days than not where I'm swinging an axe to accomplish things for the Lord.........to get a "handle" on things. Happy 2006!
